Job summary

Examinetic's Progressive Safety unit seeks a Senior Safety Consultant to lead safety on mission-critical data center projects in Columbus. You will be in the field, driving safety programs, audits, and incident investigations on large-scale builds.

You’ll mentor junior safety staff, coordinate with superintendents and subcontractors, and champion a proactive safety culture. Required OSHA 510/30 and BCSP certifications; 3+ years of construction safety experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience (vertical or commercial preferred).
• OSHA 510 + OSHA 30 (Required)
• BCSP Certification (CHST, ASP, CSP) – Strongly Preferred
• Experience working in active jobsite environments
• Strong communicator who can influence safe behaviors in the field
• Comfortable using tools like Procore, Excel, Teams

Responsibilities

• Lead jobsite safety efforts on active, large-scale construction projects.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Drive a proactive safety culture with field teams and leadership.
• Deliver toolbox talks, orientations, and training.
• Partner closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and project leaders.
• Mentor junior safety staff and help elevate team performance.
• Manage incident investigations, reporting, and safety documentation.
