Job summary

Progressive Safety is seeking a Senior Construction Safety Coordinator to lead safety efforts on active, large-scale data center builds across the U.S. You’ll mentor junior safety professionals, conduct site audits, and drive a proactive safety culture with field teams and project leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience on vertical or commercial projects.
• OSHA 510 and OSHA 30 certification required.
• BCSP certifications (CHST/ASP/CSP) preferred.
• Experience in active jobsite environments with strong field communication.
• Proficiency with Procore, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead jobsite safety efforts on active, large-scale projects

• Deliver toolbox talks, orientations, and training

Senior Construction Safety Coordinator

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading jobsite safety efforts on active, large-scale construction projects
• Conducting site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
• Driving a proactive safety culture with field teams and leadership
• Delivering toolbox talks, orientations, and training
• Partnering closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and project leaders
• Mentoring junior safety staff and helping elevate team performance
• Managing incident investigations, reporting, and safety documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of construction safety experience (vertical or commercial preferred)
• OSHA 510 + OSHA 30 (Required)
• BCSP Certification (CHST, ASP, CSP) – Strongly Preferred
• Experience working in active jobsite environments
• Strong communicator who can influence safe behaviors in the field
• Comfortable using tools like Procore, Excel, Teams

Bonus Points For

• Data center / mission-critical project experience
• Background working with MEP contractors or complex trades
• Experience mentoring or leading other safety professionals
