Job summary

Penske Logistics seeks a Sr. Health & Safety Manager – Safety Compliance to lead enterprise safety compliance programs across transportation and warehouse operations.

You will drive governance, regulatory change adoption, and risk reduction while collaborating with Legal, HR, IT, and Operations. This role also oversees AI-enabled safety initiatives and guides a small project team to deliver practical results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Safety, Risk, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Progressive experience leading safety compliance, regulatory, risk management, or related programs in a complex organization required.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, and/or warehousing strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA and OSHA requirements and experience applying regulatory requirements to business processes required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for enterprise safety compliance programs across transportation and warehouse operations.
• Monitor federal, state, and local safety requirements and implement regulatory changes.
• Lead governance and continuous improvement for key compliance areas and documentation.
• Coordinate audits, track findings, and ensure closure of identified gaps.
• Develop and govern safety policies, procedures, standards, and related documentation.
