Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a seasoned safety professional to lead and advance corporate health, safety, and security initiatives across refining operations in the United States. You will develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, oversee training programs for staff and contractors, and manage regulatory compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in safety-related roles within the refining industry.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Specialized training in transportation of hazardous materials and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Works to minimize the number of accidents and injuries.
• Eliminates hazardous conditions and reduces unsafe actions.
• Maintains compliance regulations and MSDS sheets as needed; issues hot work and confined space permits.
• Maintains health, safety and security equipment; supports training programs for employees and contractors.
• Acts as Contract Administrator for contract security personnel.
• Develops and implements facility health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Keeps OSHA and DOT records on accidents; provides safety coverage for the division or location.
