Job summary
Navstar Inc. seeks an experienced Solution Train Engineer to lead SAFe program execution across a large, mission-focused program. The role involves guiding RTEs, monitoring performance, and driving relentless improvement in a complex, security-focused environment.
The ideal candidate has extensive SAFe, Scrum Master, and engineering leadership experience, with strong communication and stakeholder briefing skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities across multiple ARTs.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- 5+ years of experience with large software development, systems, integration, and test efforts.
- 7+ years of experience leading teams or projects.
- Experience as Scrum Master and as Release Train Engineer or Solution Train Engineer.
- Experience applying SAFe in large programs.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate SAFe and ART operations for multiple teams.
- Monitor program performance, resolve impediments, and drive improvements.
- Lead PI Planning and Solution Train planning events.
- Coordinate schedule execution and plan program-wide releases.
- Coach teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners on agile practices.
- Brief leadership and customers on status and progress.
