Job summary
Leidos is seeking a Sr. Solution Train Engineer (STE) for its Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA).
The role supports Solution Train and ART operations on a large mission-critical program using SAFe, driving impediment removal, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has extensive agile leadership, strong communication, and experience with SAFe PI planning; TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience; degree preferred in a technical field.
- At least 7 years of experience leading teams or projects.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting large software development, systems, integration, and test efforts.
- Demonstrated work experience as a Scrum Master and as a Release Train Engineer or Solution Train Engineer.
- Experience applying SAFe and executing PI Planning.
- Proficient with agile tools (Jira, VersionOne, Rally, IBM ELM).
- Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience briefing leadership and customers on status.
- Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Solution Train and ART operations across Solution Train and ARTs.
- Coordinate SAFe governance and program execution.
- Monitor performance, remove impediments, and drive improvement.
- Lead PI Planning logistics and technical preparation.
- Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders in agile practices.
- Brief customers on progress, testing, and release readiness.
- Promote teamwork to achieve PI goals.
