Job summary

NiCE is hiring a Senior Commercial Counsel to join its Americas Legal team in Sandy, UT. This role focuses on leading high-value SaaS and enterprise software transactions, negotiating complex vendor agreements and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, an active U.S. license, 8-10+ years of in-house and vendor-side experience in technology-driven environments, and demonstrates expertise in data protection, cybersecurity, and IP law.

Qualifications

• JD required with strong academic credentials.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 8–10+ years of legal experience with SaaS, cloud computing, and enterprise software transactions (vendor-side).
• In-house experience in a commercial or technology-driven environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial and technology transactions across sales, product, and procurement.
• Provide guidance on U.S. and international data protection, cybersecurity, and IP law.
• Develop and scale legal operations, including playbooks, templates, and contracting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align legal strategy with business objectives.
• Negotiate inbound procurement and vendor agreements.
