Resource Innovations is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of a cloud-based SaaS product for energy utilities. You will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while delivering secure, scalable software.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, modern PHP/Vue.js stacks, and a commitment to energy efficiency and decarbonization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong PHP back-end and Laravel experience
• Proven ability to design scalable RESTful APIs
• Solid Vue.js front-end experience with TS
• Experience with modern CI/CD and testing
• Familiarity with AWS and serverless architectures
• Comfort leading architecture/design decisions
• Strong Git-based workflows and collaboration
• Experience in Agile teams and mentoring teammates
• Proactive problem solving and ownership mindset

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of a scalable SaaS product using Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CS
• Collaborate with design, PM, and program teams to align software with business needs
• Ensure performance, security, and sustainability in the product
• Participate in code reviews and coach engineers
• Mentor engineers and foster learning and innovation
• Debug complex issues across full stack for optimal UX
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends
• Own end-to-end software development lifecycle
• Shape strategic software direction for energy efficiency products
• Perform other duties as assigned
