Job summary

Resource Innovations is actively seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer to join our SaaS team. As a hands‑on technical lead, you will design, develop, and deploy cloud‑based enterprise software used by energy organizations.

You will work remotely with periodic in‑person meetings in the United States and collaborate across QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams using Agile methods to deliver high‑quality software on time.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience building high‑performance, scalable enterprise apps.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency with Java, Python, and Spring Boot; experience with MySQL and at least one NoSQL DB.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS), CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full software development lifecycle for cloud‑based enterprise applications.
• Design and develop cloud‑native Java solutions using Spring Boot and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Code with best practices, conduct reviews, and mentor team members.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams using Agile methodologies.
• Stay current with evolving tech, including AI‑assisted coding tools.
