Resource Innovations seeks a Lead Java Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based enterprise SaaS software for energy organizations. You will lead hands-on development, establish best practices, and guide a distributed team across cycles from design to support.

The role emphasizes scalable Java-based services, collaboration with QA and DevOps, and staying current with AI-assisted coding tools and modern engineering processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience building high‑performance, reliable, and scalable enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency with Java, Python, and Spring Boot; experience with REST/SOAP, API Gateways, and RDBMS.
• Experience with performance tuning, security, reliability and scalability in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the full software development life cycle for cloud‑based enterprise applications.
• Design and develop cloud‑native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to improve development standards.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams using Agile methodologies to deliver quality software on time.
