Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Technical Billing Consultant to lead SaaS billing implementations, configure plans and taxes, and integrate with Stripe, Avalara, Salesforce, and NetSuite. You will work across billing, sales, and operations to streamline order-to-cash and deliver tailored client solutions.

You will train client teams, document configurations, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize revenue recognition and billing performance.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and optimizing SaaS billing systems.
• Strong written and oral communication with clients and teams.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with API integrations and data analysis.
• Understanding of order-to-cash processes and revenue recognition.
• Proven project management and multi-client handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of SaaS billing systems for RESPEC partners
• Configure subscription plans, pricing, taxes, discounts, and billing cycles
• Set up integrations with Stripe, Avalara, Salesforce, and NetSuite
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client models and requirements
• Provide training and troubleshooting to client teams on the platform
• Document system design and client configurations thoroughly
• Collaborate with billing team members to resolve issues
• Test and validate configurations against documented requirements
• Participate in meetings to align order-to-cash processes
• Suggest system enhancements to improve efficiency
