Job summary

Novelis is seeking a Logistics Leader to oversee the Oswego network, with flexibility for either Atlanta, GA or Novi, MI locations. You will lead transportation and logistics operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective movement across the network and for the automotive-focused stream.

The role demands building KPIs, coordinating with plants, and driving improvement initiatives using data analytics and TMS. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in logistics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum three years of Supply Chain or Logistics experience.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• Proven understanding of data analysis and management.
• Excellent teammate with influencing, leadership and cross-functional partnership.
• Excellent communication and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics network from carrier selection to pickup and delivery for the Oswego, Kingston, and Guthrie plants.
• Be the point person for dedicated automotive fleet operations for coil and scrap movements within the network.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies for timely, cost-effective movement of material.
• Plan and support improvement projects using data analytics, freight market intel, and TMS.
• Support evaluation of carrier performance, operational metrics, and freight claims process.
• Build and supervise KPIs to assess carrier performance and freight cost with plants.
