Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager in Augusta, GA to lead end-to-end planning operations for a growing manufacturing organization. The role drives demand, inventory, materials, and production planning while managing a 10+ person team and collaborating across Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial units.

Ideal candidates bring heavy experience in manufacturing planning, an understanding of S&OP, and strong ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/JD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 8+ years in supply chain planning within manufacturing.
• Experience leading 10+ direct/indirect reports and teams.
• Strong mastery of ERP/MRP systems and planning processes.
• APICS/ASCM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand, production, inventory, materials, and replenishment planning.
• Manage and develop a team of 10+ planners, buyers, and supply chain professionals.
• Establish inventory strategies balancing service, working capital, and efficiency.
• Oversee tactical purchasing, PO management, supplier coordination, and replenishment.
• Drive material planning to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to align schedules.
• Lead S&OP and cross-functional planning to improve forecasting.
• Monitor KPIs: inventory turns, forecast accuracy, OTIF, capacity.
• Identify process improvements to reduce costs.
• Partner with procurement on supplier performance and risk.
• Develop scenario planning and risk management strategies.
• Utilize ERP and planning systems to improve data and reporting.
• Support strategic growth initiatives and network optimization.
