  • Monitor forecast performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate production capacity and material availability to support customer requirements.
  • Translate demand forecasts into supply and inventory plans.
Inventory Management
  • Develop inventory strategies that balance customer service expectations with working capital objectives.
  • Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, excess inventory, and slow-moving items.
  • Identify inventory risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives across manufacturing and distribution locations.
Business Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Analyze trends in forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, capacity utilization, backlog, and fill‑rate performance.
  • Provide root‑cause analysis and recommendations to address planning variances.
  • Support annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams to align planning decisions with business objectives.
  • Support new product introductions, product transitions, and business growth initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance planning processes, systems, and data quality.
  • Participate in ERP and planning system enhancements.
Qualifications Include:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, Analytics, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, production planning, inventory management, or S&OP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, textiles, consumer products, healthcare products, or industrial operations.
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or IBF certification).
  • Experience with planning tools such as Kinaxis, Anaplan, Logility, Blue Yonder, o9, or SAP IBP.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
