Job summary

Blue Compass RV is seeking an Experienced RV Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems on motorized and towable RVs. You will lead by example, mentor others, and ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, tech training, and accurate record-keeping, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction. A 5-day work week and mentorship programs are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on RV service experience.
• RVIA/RVDA or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of RV systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues on both motorized and towable RVs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics.
• Lead by example in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Mentor entry-level and skilled technicians with guidance and training.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and ensure all systems are operational.
• Coordinate with service advisor and parts to ensure timely repairs.
• Stay current on RV industry certifications and training.
• Maintain accurate records of work and time in service software.
