Job summary

Antithesis is seeking a database engineer to build and enhance Pangolin, a custom streaming analytics database that manages terabytes of data.

This role requires strong proficiency in Rust and systems programming knowledge. Candidates will work closely with internal teams to define priorities and contribute to the technical direction of the system.

The position is in-person and based in Missouri, with a focus on high engineering quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Rust, safe and performant coding.
• Deep understanding of systems programming fundamentals.
• Experience with database systems and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Pangolin, our bespoke analytical database.
• Define priorities and shape the roadmap with internal customers.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team on reliability and scale.
• Write design docs and contribute to the technical direction.
