Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer - Rust/ C++ (Remote) to join the Data Science Software Development team.

You will build libraries/SDKs, perform malware analysis, and contribute to predictive modeling with ML experts across a multidisciplinary team. Your work will focus on file format parsing, feature extraction, and delivering robust services with clear APIs for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with reverse engineering and malware analysis.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; familiarity with Rust.
• Experience developing libraries/SDKs and feature-rich software.
• Strong understanding of file formats and parsing techniques.
• Comfortable on Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and software testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop file format parsing and feature extraction engines.
• Engineer new machine learning features with data scientists.
• Design, implement, test, optimize, and maintain features for internal/external customers as libraries/SDKs.
• Document designs and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Expose simple APIs to bundle services.
