Job summary

Parity is seeking a security-focused software engineer to audit and write secure Rust code, conduct deep manual and automated code reviews, and apply ML techniques to enhance security across our Web3 ecosystem.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices, triage bug bounty submissions, and stay at the forefront of secure coding, threat modeling, and blockchain security.

Qualifications

• Experience in secure coding and memory safety concepts.
• Background in code auditing, vulnerability analysis, or exploit development.
• Experience triaging bug bounty reports.
• Knowledge of ML techniques applied to security (anomaly detection, threat detection).
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles, blockchain security, or decentralized systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an offensive security mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Secure Software development: Write and optimise Rust code for security-critical components.
• Code Auditing & vulnerability analysis: perform deep reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
• ML-powered security: design ML models for automated security analysis and threat mitigation.
• Bug bounty & vulnerability management: triage reports and coordinate with researchers.
• Secure development best practices: embed security into SDLC with teams.
• Threat modeling & risk assessment: identify risks in blockchain infrastructure and contracts.
• Stay cutting-edge: research secure coding and ML-driven security.
