Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong Ruby on Rails expertise.
• Proven experience leading development teams and providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, application development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with Git, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of Ruby on Rails applications.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
• Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and priorities.
• Lead requirement analysis, user story creation, technical estimation, and sprint planning.
• Design and optimize application architecture, databases, and backend services.
• Develop and maintain scalable integrations with third-party systems.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases and data models.
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications in AWS environments.
• Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows with Git and JIRA.
• Implement automated testing and enforce coding, security, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with distributed/offshore teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and customers.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvements and technical innovation.
