Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of full stack web app development with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to write technical design and build documentation for infrastructure.
• Experience delivering secure web applications following coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop code that complies with design specifications, meets security and Rails best practices.
• Build high-quality features across the entire tech stack.
• Implement robust, secure and scalable software.
• Use a variety of tools to perform unit testing, regression testing, automated builds, and source control.
• Develop close working relationships with team members across the organization.
• Design and develop new systems as well as enhancements and fixes to existing software.
• Interface with other groups to develop and implement solutions.
• Support and maintain web-based applications critical to day-to-day business operations.
• Participate in development and implementation phases of projects to integrate appropriate applications.
• Perform code review with team members.
• Review implementation plans and manage product installations where applicable.
