BairesDev is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to drive the development of robust, scalable backend systems powering high-performance web applications. You will translate complex product requirements into clean, well-tested code while ensuring optimal system architecture and database efficiency.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs, optimize databases, and maintain strong code quality through testing and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or Ruby development experience.
• Proven expertise building backend web apps with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong RESTful API development experience.
• Proficient in SQL, Active Record, testing and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git and cloud deployment.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend web applications using modern practices.
• Develop and optimize secure, reliable RESTful APIs.
• Create and maintain efficient database schemas and write optimized queries.
• Implement comprehensive test suites and performance tuning strategies.
