Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Director of Mixing & Compounding (Rubber) to lead two rubber and cord production sites in Columbia, MO, overseeing 200 employees with 6–8 direct reports. You will own safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, and drive P&L accountability across both plants.

Key duties include establishing standardized work, DOE/ SPC driven improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with chemists, engineers, and supply chain. Expect ~30% travel and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two-site rubber production with 200 employees and 6–8 direct reports.
• Lead a team of managers to ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Develop operating, capital, and budget plans; manage costs, yield, scrap, and material variance.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma practices across sites.
