Job summary

The Judge Group seeks a Director of Mixing & Compounding (Rubber) to oversee two plants in Columbia, MO, with ~200 staff and 6–8 direct reports. You will own safety, quality, delivery, and cost accountability, driving capital plans and improvements across sites.

You’ll lead a leadership team, shape annual plans, and partner with supply chain and commercial teams. Relocation offered; travel ~30% to sites. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering or related technical field; experience in lieu considered.
• 8+ years manufacturing experience with rubber compounding/mixing.
• 5+ years leading managers and multi‑shift operations.
• Strong knowledge of mixing equipment and QC/testing methods (Mooney, MDR/RPA).

Responsibilities

• Hold full P&L, safety, quality, delivery, and cost accountability for two sites.
• Lead 6–8 managers and ~200 employees across shifts.
• Develop operating, capital plans, and budgets; manage costs against targets.
• Optimize schedules, capacity, inventory, and changeovers across sites.
• Travel ~30% to sites; lead cross-functional troubleshooting and investigations.
