Job summary

Illinois Ag is seeking a Director of Mixing & Compounding (Rubber) in Galesburg, IL. The role oversees rubber production, milling and textile operations across two plants with 200 employees and 6–8 direct reports. Relocation is offered, with a base salary of $175,000–$210,000 plus a 15% bonus.

The leader will own P&L, safety, quality, cost and delivery, and drive continuous improvement across both sites. Expect ~30% floor time on the plants, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (preferred).
• 8+ years manufacturing experience with rubber/polymer processes.
• 5+ years leadership experience managing managers and multi-shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Hold full P&L, safety, quality, delivery, and cost accountability for both sites.
• Lead 6–8 managers who lead ~200 employees across shifts.
• Develop and manage operating plans, budgets, and capital plans.
• Balance production schedules and capacity across two sites to meet demand.
• Travel approximately 30% to oversee both sites and engage with operators.
