Job summary

Synopsys is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to lead Prime Power RTL 2.0 evaluations and deploy robust power analysis solutions for its customers in production environments. You will tailor flows, calibrate results, and guide customers toward production signoff with strong technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying RTL power analysis tools in customer environments.
• Working knowledge of CGE, glitch analysis, and memory power modeling.
• Experience with VCS, Verdi, FSDB formats, SDC flows, and Tcl scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead RTL 2.0 evaluations and production deployments from scoping to go-live.
• Deploy and tune flows using CGE, lint, ODC, and RC/UPF-based analyses.
• Guide customers on FSDB quality, coverage, and calibration strategies.
• Troubleshoot elaboration failures, UPF issues, and SDC constraints.
• Present options and timelines to engineering teams; manage deliverables.
• Develop Tcl-based automation for staged save/restore and reporting.
