Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer to support PowerPro for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization. You will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams.

The role involves delivering demonstrations, leading evaluations, and supporting deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams, with up to 20% travel and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Strong RTL design experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL.
• Knowledge of digital design, synthesis, and verification flows.
• Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies.
• Scripting skills in Tcl and/or Python.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• BS/MS in EE, CS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops.
• Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins.
• Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements.
