The role requires NBRC RRT, Florida RT license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS with NRP within 90 days of hire, reflecting a strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program with Associates Degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC and current Florida license.
• CRT accepted, but must become RRT within 36 months of hire date.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• NRP certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care techniques in critical and non-critical areas.
• Assist and advise staff Certified Respiratory Practitioners.
• Provide aerosol, oxygen therapy, CPT, and incentive spirometry.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, ABG sampling, pulmonary function testing.
• Monitor pulse oximetry and assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy.
• Perform CPR and other duties as assigned.
