Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County, FL seeks a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide comprehensive respiratory care in both critical and non-critical care areas, and to advise staff on respiratory therapies.

This role requires NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, a current Florida license (RT/TT), BLS/ACLS/PALS, and NRP within 90 days of hire; CRT may be accepted with upgrade within 36 months. Eligible for a hospital team focused on patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program with Associates Degree.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• Current Florida RT license or temporary license; CRT accepted but must become RT within 36 months from date of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification within 90 days from initial hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, CPT, incentive spirometry, and arterial blood gases; support mechanical ventilation and pulmonary function testing.
• Perform bronchoscopy assistance and CPR as part of cardiopulmonary care; perform other duties as assigned.
