Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform respiratory care in both critical and non-critical areas. You will assist staff and provide therapies including ventilation support, ABG analysis, and pulmonary testing.

Qualifications include: NBRC-RT, Florida RT license or TT, CRT eligible within 36 months, and mandatory BLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP within 90 days of hire. This role requires teamwork and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program with Associate’s Degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC.
• Current Florida RT license or TT license.
• CRT accepted, but must become an RRT within 36 months from hire date.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• NRP certification within 90 days from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care techniques in critical and non-critical care areas.
• Assist and advise staff Certified Respiratory Practitioners.
• Duties include aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, CPT, incentive spirometry, mechanical ventilation, ABGs, PFTs, pulse oximetry.
• Assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and perform CPR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)

Current Florida RT license

CRT eligible: must become RRT within 36 months

BLS Certification (AHA for Healthcare Providers)

ACLS Certification (AHA for Healthcare Providers)

PALS Certification (AHA for Healthcare Providers)

NRP Certification (AHA/AA Pediatric)
