Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist II for full-time, day shift (12-hour shifts). Compensation ranges from $33.15 to $44.62 per hour, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within three months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered by the provider.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care with attention to age/population needs.
• May serve as Lead RCP and oversee department during shift.
