Job summary

BridgeWork Partners in North Texas is seeking a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to provide professional oversight, direct supervision, QA/QC, and signing and sealing of survey deliverables. The position emphasizes surveying decisions, technical review, and professional responsibility, with no daily management of staff required.

You will review deeds, plats, easements, boundary evidence, and CAD drawings, mentor crew chiefs, and collaborate with field crews and leadership.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RPLS registration in active status.
• Ability to satisfy TBPELS requirements for full-time RPLS employed by a registered firm.
• Strong knowledge of Texas boundary law, TBPELS rules, and surveying standards.
• Experience with boundary and topographic surveying.
• Ability to analyze survey evidence and make defensible decisions.
• Experience reviewing survey drawings, field data, and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional oversight and direct supervision of surveying work under Texas law.
• Establish and review surveying methodology and professional decisions.
• Review deeds, plats, easements, and right-of-way documents.
• Direct collection of field data and survey evidence.
• Provide direction on monumentation and survey monuments.
• Review field notes, calculations, and boundary evidence.
• Review CAD drawings and survey deliverables.
• Sign, date, and seal surveys with required supervision.
• Ensure compliance with Texas statutes and TBPELS rules.
• Communicate corrections and professional decisions to field crews and leadership.
