Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our Houston-area team. You will lead survey activities, review plans, and ensure quality across execution and documentation for diverse infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited degree or equivalent, is licensed as an RPLS, has at least five years of licensed surveying experience including supervision, and is proficient in GPS survey methods and data handling.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited 4-year Survey Degree or Engineering Degree with accreditation in survey.
• RPLS licensed.
• Minimum five years of licensed surveying experience with supervisory assignments.
• Knowledge of GPS survey methods and electronic data collection; ability to review and transfer data to mapping.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Execution Plans with scope, schedule, budget, organization, and deliverables.
• Assign tasks, supervise survey personnel, and ensure safety and documentation compliance.
• Monitor survey data for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain and file project documents and reports for easy retrieval.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Survey Director, and Client Representative on progress and issues.
