Qualifications

About the role

IBM i-Series RPG/RPGLE programmer analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications on our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and provide resolution of day-to-day functional and technical issues.

Note: Must work from any of the following states: CA, FL, GA, IL, LA, MI, NJ, NY, NV, NC, OR, TN, TX, or WA and provide support starting at 9 AM EST.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve issues in existing RPG/RPGLE applications to ensure optimal performance
  • Design, code, test, and implement new features or applications based on user requirements
  • Collaborate with other systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Conduct testing and debugging to maintain high-quality code standards
  • 24x7 on-call availability with immediate response to incidents

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in iSeries/AS400 and RPG analysis, design, and programming
  • Strong understanding of DDS, sub-files, RPG IV/RPGLE, CL, SQLRPGLE Free Format coding, and FTP functionality required
  • Experience developing DB2/400 and SQL databases required
  • Experience in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) required
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions required

Education & Experience

  • BS Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred:
    • Background in WMS applications
    • Experience with Rocket/Aldon Change Control
    • Experience with ZPL programming and Zebra printers
    • Experience with Varsity applications

Travel

  • 10% overall; may be significantly higher during duration of a project

Pay Range

$105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
