Job summary

Sound Transit is seeking a Senior ROW professional to lead property rights acquisition and related deliverables for design and construction of agency facilities in Washington. You will oversee consultants, review plans and easements, and ensure compliance with ROW policies while prioritizing safety, schedule, and stakeholder collaboration.

Strong negotiation, writing, and project-management skills are essential; field experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/related field and 5+ years in civil/architectural design, construction or land development.
• WA license preferred (Professional Civil Engineer or Land Surveyor).
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage schedules and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead property rights acquisition to support design, construction, operation and maintenance of Sound Transit facilities.
• Oversee ROW-related scope-of-work for consultants across design phases.
• Review and verify project deliverables: plans, specs, easements and related documents.
• Develop and administer ROW policies and procedures; ensure compliance and quality.
