This on-site role at Fort Meade requires an active TS/SCI clearance and focuses on enterprise routing and switching design, implementation, and maintenance. Responsibilities include configuring Cisco routers/switches, developing automation in Python, and using GitHub for code management.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise routing and switching.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Expertise with network protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and TCP/IP.
• Experience developing automation and network management solutions using Python.
• Proficiency with GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in large-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise routing and switching environments.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and associated technologies.
• Perform advanced network analysis and resolve complex connectivity, performance, and availability issues.
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Python to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilize GitHub for version control, code management, and collaboration on automation initiatives.
• Support network modernization efforts, technology refresh projects, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and operations teams to ensure secure and reliable network services.
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
