Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an experienced Network System Administrator to join a mission-focused technology and engineering team at Fort Meade, MD. This fully onsite role requires active TS/SCI clearance and hands-on network engineering, security, and operations expertise.

You will work on IP messaging networks, test baselines, develop SOPs, support incident management, and maintain high‑availability enterprise WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and security devices using Cisco routers and switches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of network engineering/troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with routing/switching, IP/subnetting, MPLS, VPNs, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, STP, VLANs.
• Strong knowledge of defense-in-depth and enterprise WAN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Network integration, testing, security engineering, and configuration support.
• Develop SOPs/TTPs and support CSI.
• Maintain and tune performance of large-scale networks and devices.
• Participate in RCA and incident management activities.
