Job summary

Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee branch route delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance with SOPs, DOT regulations, and safety standards. You will align with Warehouse and Merchandising teams and mentor the delivery staff.

The role includes recruitment, training, performance management, scheduling, and driving improvements in service levels and cost savings while representing the Coca-Cola brand in customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of route/delivery experience.
• Associates degree or greater preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with air brakes is required.
• No more than 2 moving violations and no OWIs in the last five years.
• At least 3 years of prior personnel management experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service communication skills to interact with customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills for on-site issues under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team leadership abilities.
• Able to be a mentor, trainer and motivator; must be a strong team player and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee route delivery and act as liaison to Warehouse and Merchandising teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Schedule rides with delivery staff, visit customer locations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Direct management duties including recruitment, selection, training, performance management, scheduling and staff development.
• Represent the company professionally to meet performance expectations and reflect the Coca-Cola brand image.
• Facilitate communication between departments to complete distribution activities (delivery, shelves, displays, credits).
• Identify and implement short- and long-term improvements for efficiency, cost savings and service levels.
• Perform additional duties as required; maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
