Job summary

Worley Group in Long Beach, CA seeks a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead rotating equipment scope on major projects. You will develop schedules, budgets, and deliverables, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with standards and client specs.

We value deep experience with gas/turbine, compressors and pumps, and strong leadership to guide multidisciplinary teams. This role is based in Long Beach or Monrovia and requires travel to vendor facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of rotating equipment engineering experience in Petroleum-Chemical, Oil & Gas industries.
• Experience leading mechanical teams on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of API standards and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Update schedules and progress reports for rotating equipment work.
• Develop hour estimates, TIC estimates, and deliverable requirements.
• Interface with Project Management and customers regularly to align scope and milestones.
• Ensure adherence to engineering practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specs.
• Support preparation of equipment specifications and drawings.
