Job summary

Arctic Testing & Inspection (ATI), part of AIS Infrastructure Group, seeks a Level 3 Rope Access Technician. The role covers inspections, maintenance, and light mechanical work on structures using rope access per IRATA/SPRAT standards.

Responsibilities include NDT methods, logging, safety briefings, and equipment maintenance at height. The position requires IRATA/SPRAT Level 3 certification, potential offshore travel, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold IRATA or SPRAT Level 3 certification with logged hours and ability to supervise sites.
• NDT certifications per SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712 if NDT work is required.
• Ability to travel to job sites including offshore/remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Rig and de-rig rope access systems per IRATA/SPRAT standards.
• Perform inspections and light mechanical tasks using rope access.
• Record findings and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow safety protocols, permits-to-work, and JHAs.
• Maintain PPE and rope access gear, and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Operate various NDT methods when qualified (VT, UT, MT, PT, RT).
• Install, repair, and maintain insulation systems and coatings as required.
