Austin Industrial is seeking a Level II Rope Technician to join our team. The role involves maintenance, inspections, and repairs at elevated, hard-to-reach locations using rope access techniques.

The ideal candidate has advanced technical expertise, leadership ability, and a strong safety record in industrial settings. Applicants must have 4 years of journeyman rope access experience along with ASNT Level II, NCCER, a valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card.

Qualifications

• Four years of journeyman-level rope access experience.
• ASNT Level II certification, NCCER, a valid Driver’s License, and a TWIC Card.
• Able to work at heights and in various industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations at height using rope access.
• Rig, deploy, and inspect rope access equipment before and after use.
• Execute complex trade tasks such as welding, grinding, and painting at height.
• Document findings and ensure safety compliance with IRATA/SPRAT standards.
• Coordinate with team and report incidents and observations.
