Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled Rope Access Technician 3 to join our La Porte, TX team. You will oversee rope access operations at height, perform welding-related tasks, and ensure strict safety and regulatory compliance across industrial sites.

Required 4+ years Journeyman experience, ASNT Level II, NCCER, TWIC, and a valid driver’s license. On-site roles involve high safety standards and coordination with multiple trades.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of Journeyman level experience.
• Certifications: ASNT Level II, NCCER, TWIC Card, Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead rope access operations for complex projects such as tall buildings and bridges.
• Rig, deploy, and maintain advanced rope access systems to ensure safety and readiness.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and specialist rope access tasks at height.
• Provide safety leadership and enforce compliance with ANSI, IRATA, SPRAT standards.
• Coordinate with trades, supervise junior rope technicians, and document work.
