Job summary

Austin Industrial in Channelview, TX is seeking a Level II Rope Technician 4 to perform advanced rope access operations at height, including inspections, maintenance, and installations across industrial sites. The role requires 4 years journeyman-level experience, ASNT Level II certification, NCCER credentials, a valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card.

You will rig and inspect equipment, perform complex trades, ensure safety, and document findings.

Responsibilities

Advanced rope access operations at height, including inspections, maintenance and installations.
Rig, deploy and inspect rope access gear before and after use.
Perform complex trade tasks such as welding, grinding, and coatings at height.
Conduct visual and technical inspections, document findings in reports.
Maintain safety compliance with IRATA and SPRAT standards and briefs.
Record work details and incidents clearly in logs.
Coordinate with team to plan and complete projects.
Pursue ongoing training to stay current with standards.
