Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and drawings to interpret specifications.
• Accurate measurement using tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
• Quality inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and conformance.
• Safe operation of roll forming machinery and basic troubleshooting.
• Adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication.
• Problem-solving to maintain efficiency and reduce scrap.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming machinery safely to meet daily production goals.
• Set up tooling, adjust machine settings, and verify operation during runs.
• Read production orders, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using measuring devices.
• Monitor product quality for dimensional accuracy and conformance.
• Identify and escalate machine issues, material feed problems or tooling concerns.
• Assist with material handling using forklifts or cranes as needed.
• Complete production records including output, scrap, downtime and quality data.
• Conduct daily machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas per 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and uptime.
• Collaborate with team members, quality personnel, and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
