Job summary

EXPANSIA Group seeks a Senior Propulsion Engineer to support the NOVASTAR program in Dayton, OH. You will handle propulsion system design, analysis, and reporting for liquid and solid rocket motors, with travel up to 30% across the continental U.S.

The role requires a BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in propulsion, and active TS/SCI clearance. You will work autonomously yet contribute to collaborative technical reporting for customers and program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 5+ years in propulsion or fluid mechanics design/test/evaluation.
• Strong programming and scientific computing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support propulsion system design, testing, and evaluation for rocket engines.
• Prepare technical reports and analyses for customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with engineers to assess subsystem performance.
