Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Propulsion Engineer to serve as a consultant to USAF customers, working on propulsion systems for liquid and solid rocket motors, and related GNC, SW modeling, and simulations.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering degrees, 5+ years in propulsion design/testing, and TS/SCI eligibility. Strong computing skills (C/C++/Fortran/Python/MATLAB) are essential for technical reporting and analyses.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years in propulsion or fluid mechanical design, testing, or evaluation.
• Formal education in thermodynamics, nozzle design, and fluid mechanics basics.
• Proficiency in scientific computing languages for analyses.
• TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as consultant to USAF customers on propulsion systems.
• Address propulsion inquiries via technical reporting and analyses.
• Work autonomously and contribute to collaborative reporting.
