Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a highly skilled software engineer to advance tracking and state estimation across multisensor data. You will prototype and deploy algorithms, build high‑performance real‑time software, and validate improvements through simulations and statistics.

The role spans prototyping to production and requires security clearance potential. You will influence a small team and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust estimation systems for mission-critical applications

Qualifications

• Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and statistical modeling.
• Strong knowledge of target tracking techniques and state estimation.
• Experience with sensor fusion and multiple tracking algorithms.
• Background in linear algebra, optimization, probability, and stochastic processes.
• Knowledge of radar, lidar, EO/IR sensor data processing.
• Familiarity with big data pipelines and data handling.
• Background in machine learning as applied to tracking and recognition.
• Ability to engineer robust estimation and filtering systems.
• Demonstrated cross‑lidelity prototyping to production readiness.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define and influence the direction of a small team with expertise in tracking and state estimation.
• Prototype and deploy algorithms for tracking, multi‑sensor data fusion, and estimation in agile environments.
• Develop high‑performance software for real‑time systems and simulations.
• Design robust filters, estimators, and probabilistic reasoning for noisy data.
• Analyze system performance with high‑fidelity simulations and rigorous statistics.
• Customize algorithms for mission-critical use cases including real-time tracking.
• Integrate tracking and estimation into the software lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Translate progress into actionable insights for stakeholders.
