Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead hardware and systems development for next‑gen robotic platforms. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams to deliver complex NPI programs in fulfillment technologies.

You will manage schedules, risks, and resources while partnering with product management, manufacturing, and deployment teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
10+ years hardware engineering experience.
7+ years working with engineering teams.
Experience delivering products in fast-paced, multi-discipline environments.
Experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
Experience in scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
Experience in cross-functional organizations.
Strong written and verbal communication with senior leadership.
Ability to solve ambiguous challenges with structured problem solving.
Ability to develop Gantt charts and manage critical paths.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of System and Hardware Product Development programs with mechanical, electrical, and embedded teams.
Define goals with Deployment Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Support.
Collaborate cross-functionally on hardware/software integration.
Triage and prioritize field requests for Hardware Engineering support.
Drive consensus on technical decisions and allocate resources.
Partner with Hardware Engineering, Product Management, and Systems Engineering.
Identify and mitigate program risks and issues.
Create and share project information with stakeholders.
Foster teamwork across groups with competing priorities.
Manage schedules across HW disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Safety, Regulatory, HW Test).
Collaborate with external groups to meet project goals.
