Job summary

Halodi Robotics in San Carlos is seeking a Test Engineer/Senior Test Engineer to own test stations for NEO electronics and robotic subassemblies. This hands-on role spans software, electronics, firmware, fixtures, and production operations, guiding stations from requirements to deployment and ongoing support.

You’ll sit at the intersection of R&D, design, and manufacturing to ensure high-volume production ships defect-free.

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical/Computer Engineering or robotics with hands-on test experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for test applications and automation.
• Ability to read schematics and perform electronics debugging.
• Experience with bench instrumentation and embedded/testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own test systems for NEO electronics and subassemblies.
• Create operator-facing test apps with clear pass/fail verdicts and traceability.
• Improve station uptime, cycle time, and data quality as production scales.
• Connect test data with production systems to drive actionable insight.
