Job summary

Eka Robotics is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to help us build the team behind Eka’s next growth stage.

You will personally source candidates in robotics, ML/RL, computer vision, simulation, and software, and work directly with company leadership on interview strategy, offers, and closing. This hands-on role requires a track record of sourcing highly technical talent, plus the ability to map talent markets, engage passive candidates, and partner with the People team on headcount planning and expansion

Qualifications

• Significant experience recruiting highly technical talent, including robotics, AI, or related fields.
• Proven success sourcing difficult-to-find engineering and research candidates.
• Strong knowledge of the robotics talent ecosystem and sourcing beyond LinkedIn.
• Experience sourcing via technical communities, research publications, conferences, and labs.
• Sufficient technical fluency to discuss specialized candidate backgrounds with researchers and engineers.
• Excellent candidate-facing communication and ability to build excitement and trust.
• Experience in fast-growing startups or high-ownership environments.
• Interest in broader People topics beyond recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Personally source and recruit highly specialized research and engineering talent, focusing on robotics, ML/RL, computer vision, simulation, and software.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent maps across robotics companies, labs, and communities.
• Build relationships with passive candidates and serve as an early ambassador for Eka.
• Own candidate conversations and partner with leadership on interview strategy, offers, closing.
• Improve recruiting workflows, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with talent team and partners to move high-priority searches quickly.
• Partner with leadership on headcount planning, compensation, performance management, and expansion strategy.
