Job summary

Eka Robotics in Boston is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to help us attract top technical talent for robotics, ML/RL, computer vision, and software. You will source candidates directly, map talent, and drive searches end-to-end, collaborating closely with leadership.

The role is hands-on, focusing on building pipelines from academia and industry; you will own conversations, lead interview strategy, and help Eka scale through the next growth phase.

Qualifications

• Significant experience recruiting highly technical talent, including robotics, embodied AI, or related fields.
• Proven success sourcing difficult-to-find engineering and research candidates.
• Deep knowledge of robotics talent ecosystem across academia, research, and industry.
• Ability to understand specialized candidate backgrounds and engage credibly with researchers and engineers.
• Strong candidate-facing communication and ability to build excitement and trust in the process.
• Experience in a fast-growing startup or high-ownership environment.
• Interest in broader People topics beyond recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Personally source and recruit highly specialized research and engineering talent focusing on robotics, ML/RL, computer vision, simulation, and software.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent maps across robotics companies, research organizations, university labs, and technical communities.
• Build relationships with passive candidates and serve as an ambassador for Eka.
• Own candidate conversations and partner with leadership on interview strategy, offers, closing, and follow-up.
• Continuously improve recruiting workflows, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with the talent team and recruiting partners to move high-priority searches quickly.
• Support broader People initiatives such as headcount planning and compensation.
